Why we mention “Etsy”
TagPeek helps sellers check listings on the Etsy marketplace. We use the name Etsy only to identify that marketplace — not to suggest we are part of Etsy, Inc. That use follows the usual nominative fair use test:
- Identification: The product cannot be described clearly without naming Etsy — we audit Etsy listings, not generic “online shop” pages.
- Minimum necessary: We use the word “Etsy” and plain text only. We do not use Etsy’s logo, brand colours, or trade dress as our own.
- No sponsorship implied: We do not say or imply that Etsy, Inc. built, approved, or sponsors TagPeek.
