Can buyers zoom your photos?

买家能放大看你的商品图吗?

I built this page because I kept seeing the same silent fail: the listing looks fine in Shop Manager, but zoom is off for buyers. If zoom does not work, it is usually one of three size issues.

Short side under 2000px. First photo under 635px. Or you measured a page preview instead of the file you uploaded. Etsy scatters these in Help articles — we pulled them out so you can check yourself.

Rule 09

Public pages hide your full tag list

What this means: Shoppers only see a thin slice of your tags on the public page. Your full set of 13 lives in Shop Manager (or via Etsy’s official tools).

If you ignore it: You may think a tag “is live” because you typed it — while the public page never showed the full set to begin with.

How I check: I look in Shop Manager for the full list, not the public page. TagPeek uses the official path when it audits tags.

Rule 10

A re-upload size that clears both floors

What this means: Help articles and seller tips disagree on exact pixels. The size I use most: 2700×2025 (4:3), JPEG ~85%, under 1MB, sRGB, no transparent background, clean hero.

If you ignore it: You can clear one floor and still miss the other — zoom may still be unavailable on the live page, or a weak first photo in search.

How I fix it: I export once at that target so both the 2000px zoom floor and the 635px first-photo floor are cleared. Then I check the live page.

Image-size guidance: Etsy recommends at least 2000px on both sides. This tool measures image dimensions; it cannot establish live zoom availability from dimensions alone. Verify zoom on the listing itself.
