I used to leave half the photo grid empty. Etsy gives you the slots so buyers can see scale, texture, and packing — not so the page looks sparse.
我以前常把图位空着一半。Etsy 给你这么多位，是让买家看清尺寸、材质和包装 —— 不是让页面显得空。

What this means: current Help guidance allows up to 20 photos and 1–2 videos per listing. You do not have to fill every slot — but empty slots mean less proof for the buyer.
If you ignore it: the listing still publishes. Shoppers just get fewer angles, fewer close-ups, and less packing proof than shops that use the space.
How I fix it: I plan a short shot list — hero, scale, detail, packing, process — then fill what I can. Every photo still follows Rule 01 and Rule 02 on size.
这条要求什么：当前帮助文档允许每个商品页最多 20 张图和 1–2 条视频。不必塞满，但空着就少给买家看证据。
不过会怎样：照样能上架。只是买家看到的角度、特写和包装证明，比那些用满图位的店少。

Do videos replace photo slots?
视频会占用图片位吗？
No. Videos sit in their own 1–2 allowance. Photos still have up to 20 slots in current Help guidance.
